Years ago I found a patch to BlueQuartz to force a user logging in via FTP to the site's /web folder instead of the user's web folder. Is there such a patch for BlueOnyx?

Thanks in advance!

That's already built in. If the user is a siteAdmin, then he logs into the
/web of the site by default.

If he's not a siteAdmin, then he lands in the personal directory instead.

Michael,

I just tried it, logging in as a user who is a site admin. The folder that I landed in is

/.users/32/peggy66

Which is actually one level above peggy66's user web folder.

Is there another option somewhere that I might be missing?

Thanks!

-Mark

Which site does peggy66 belong to? You need to FTP to exactly that.

You need to FTP to the exact FQDN that the user belongs to. If you just FTP to
the IP (any IP) or the hostname of the server, then you land in the user's
home directory instead of /web.

Thanks, Michael, that was it. I was connecting to the FQDN of the server, not the site. I'll make sure that the user is doing that as well.

Thanks again!
